New 2013/4 Roadster

Much Grass, Canberra.
I have bookmarked this for future project potential.
That blue is pretty cool; but, the orange is awesome.
Making me think about orange stripes perhaps.

Are orange stripes - NOT RED - OK, on a fast black R3R?
Will I be violating the dark covenant?
Decisions, decisions, decisions . . .
Regards,

do as Ponters did go for the fast red it goes well with the black

****! They are red and not orange.
I was subconsciously weaseling out calling it orange, I guess.
The blue is too dark. No yellow???
What a dilemma?

Some nice updates for 2013/4 Roadster, more power and black parts ... less chrome.... And a couple of stripes down the tank and fenders....

Triumph Rocket III Roadster 2013 - 4/22

Unchained: 2013 Triumph Rocket III Free of Power Restrictions - Motorcycle.com News

Went to dealer today, and they haven't heard of any such thing, head mechanic rand Chris in Melbourne he hasn't heard of any such thing, he is going to contact Triumph UK, to see if a tune does actually exists as per the above article. Dealer has a 2013 rocket in stock and all the paper work in exactly the same as my 2010 Roadster.

I doubt that they have got the new 2013/14 model yet, as it is only just been released to the dealers in the UK end of last week.
It's the version with the electronic torque limiter in the first 3 gears removed! If the Roadster has two big white or red lines down the tank and fenders then its the latest model!

When I was in Melbourne last month for Philip Island Worlds SBK I went into PeterStevens and they said they didn't think they werre getting the striped unrestricted model in Auss this year

I've decided to pimp it up a bit before taking delivery and sending the full exhaust system (header heat shields and silencers) away to be ceramic coated in Black Matt along with the rear brake reservoir cover.

Opted for the triumph hi-flow accessory exhaust, cause I kinda like the bulk of the original exhaust system, was gonna fit the Zard 3-1 I got on my current Roadster but it keeps burning my leg/jeans. Will post some pics when they get them fitted in a week or so.
