I have a 2010 as well and blacked out some parts. Check this out.

I have material to make the stripes. I might go with a stripe but it will be a tad different so to match my helmet than the 13's stripe. My helmet is matt black with a large stripe down the middle and two small ones on each side.

What width are those stock stripes?
2" - 50mm?

I'm not sure .... it looks as if there are two different sizes. The stripes on the tank look larger than the ones on the front fender.

I was going to say three different sizes but I wasn't 100% sure on the mud guard fender. I think you are right.... it does look like a different size. I can understand the front fender with the stripes being smaller but can't figure out why they would change the size from the tank to the mud guard? I guess they know more about it than I do. I suppose the roll of the mud guard would make the stripe look bigger or something.

Blue would look different (good) then you could add the blue silicone hoses Ponters put us onto . Then your bike would be unique.
Just like all us earlier Standard Owners bikes were when we blacked out all the chrome bits .. until the factory copied us that is

Please enlighten me regarding these "blue silicone hoses".
Sounds like something I would like to do.
