Michelin Commander II 140/75/17 pictures please

Hi all. Been awhile since I posted last. I have the Bridgestone at rear and Michelin at front. Bit of a gap. Have a picture on my profile page with the custom exhaust.

Thanks Scorp that there is quite a gap isn't it, how does it feel? is it wearing well?

No signs of any unusual wear. Will have to see how many kms i have done. No complaints from me though.

The gap's probably not as noticeable unless you're looking for it, but it's still a not a look I'm terribly keen on. I know it would still sit up a bit at both ends but I wonder how hard would it be to just lower a guard a little.

Just to interject a point. from other source I hear Triumph Phil rides like Bones does. By that I mean he has no sissy strips. He is ready for a tire change and has been running the exedra max and the michelin commander. he has 11,000 miles on them. I believe with the ruff riding that would be considered a good number. Paul Bryant has not got as many miles out of his but I believe he is even more agressive and I hear the OZ roads are made of some typeof chip stone that eats tire faster. I am sure the people from OZ can confirm whether this is true or not.

Some of the roads can be as rough as barbed wire underpants:eek:
I find the hardest thing to deal with is the road shoulders on the twisties being eroded away, bumpy and also crumbling in places also the pot holes on the corners can be surprising.
But this also ads to the excitement of the ride.

Hmmmmm! Might consider the Avon to go with the back Bridgy!

Well I will be trying a Michelin on the front next the cobra I have currently on there has been good even when over all the way to edge it has hung on nicely but due to the crappy NSW roads it is almost down to the wear indicators on the right hand side after 6500km mind you that includes over 3000km towing the the camper which while the front is not taking the weight directly it does get pushed a bit and it did not feel as sharp or quick turning as the Shinko had, shame really that the Shinko let me down with the delaminating twice.
I am hoping the Michelin will be like the Shinko feel, grip and life wise without the hassles
