Oh.. and they're not pines... they're pins.. Pines are a little taller..
I couldn't use the file off of here, all that was on it was one pin. I had to create my own file.. I went through the Member's List together with where I knew fellow Captains lived. I only put the active poster's from Texas.. Those who had only a few posts, I did not include.
thanks for explaining what's goin on txrIIIrider, i would have been a little challenged to figure out what was going on with google frap. all in all , it's a neat thing to be able to see where everyone is. amazing stuff this google earth is. so now what?
Mines Red with a Windvest shield and "Leatherlyke" saddlebags. Sorry I missed ya, I asked several folks that I thought might be from here, but no luck. When it warms up a bit, I'd love to get together with everyone. Or at least a few of us. Maybe another hillcountry ride?
Thanks for putting me on the map. Now I feel like the hill billy who found that he could wear Hush Puppy shoes " I can be somebody"! Thats an old commercial for you youngsters. I'm sure that Mark at Euro Sports of Waco would love to see a bunch of Rockets pull up in his parking lot. On the 1st anniversary of the R3 he took a bunch of Captains up to Rocket Tx.

Actually, I already had a message typed up on here saying that I couldn't figure out how to save the file with all of the pins on it and be able to attache it here.. but, before I hit "Submit", I right-clicked on "My Places" in Google Earth and there was a Save option there!. So.. I was pretty much working on being a barefoot hill billy myself. Oh.. maybe I already resemble that remark..
