No, this is great! I'm wondering thought - how does it no scratch the heck out of your bike?

Well the wood sits above the mudguard. The two pieces of angle simply wedge between the saddlebags and the frame the saddlebags bolt to. The saddlebags are not currently fitted and had no time to put them on for a photo the image was just to show where it sits roughly. Here's an image with the board on but it's completely hidden
