In a different class of bike I know ,Cycle Torque that Aussie Bike show had a review on the new Royal Enfield Himalayan, a bare bones entry level adventure bike at around Aud $7000 on road ,if they are a tough as the bullet the people ride as hire bikes all over India then a good cheap alternative as a second bike to explore the bush tracks n OZ
A young Indian guy that works in the kitchen at the nursing home has one Ken and he is happy with it but says it lacks power it is only about 400cc from memory
Sounds a touch like US origin citizens buying 'homemade' and ending up with underpowered products. At least Indian origin citizens don't have to suffer over inflated prices as well.
