Let The "Exploring" Begin

The reason I replaced the OEM muffler on the GTR was it was the only thing I disliked on the otherwise nice lines of the bike the OEM can was huge and looked out of place on the sleek shape , the Staintune pipe and can suits the lines of the bike also gives it a nice deep note that rises to a growl at around 5000 rpm (just off idle on one of these babies) it is marked with the tested Decible reading for Mr Plod

funnily enough while the TEX (as the Triumph Explorer Forums like to call the Explorer) has a fairly large muffler it sort suits it and seems to fit well in the lines of the bike so for now it will stay

The one on the GTR must be for Euro compliance it is HUGE and UGLY and Gaaaawwwnn to the parts bin, my mates son wants it to put on his Toyota 1.3 Echo but I better keep it just in case for rego if checked later on for Cat compliance
