LED Headlights - Daymaker - 5.75" on Rocket Roadster

In my case it took a bit of work. I think everybody has had to fiddle something.

There are iirc 3 documented modding methods. One involves modifying the Speakers - Ponters method. Or you can move the shell brackets outside the shell - this from Jim in the USA and mine involved using deeper "frenching" rings and trimming the inner part of the new ring so it all fitted. But since then others seem to have managed with less fiddling.

I followed Chris's directions and mine fitted with out any fuss

215 GBS ($338 USD) is the a tad more cost than the Daymaker, which requires NO fiddling to mount.

Anyone had a chance to use the daymakers in twisties without additional lighting? I've heard the directional nature of the beam can make negotiation in canyons and heavily wooded areas a bit difficult when hitting curves.

My Daymakers do just fine at night as I don't ride nearly as fast at night, especially if caught in some twisties.
