Keyless Ignition Mod HOW TO WITH PICS

Ken - Now that's impressive - and when it comes to electrics I'm bleedin' hard to impress.

The PDM60's look interesting - but I wish they had a common earth. My current ancillaries setup has common bus feeds to pos' and neg' battery terminals.

I've concluded the PDM60 feasibility study and as expected it all works really nicely together with the KeyLess Controller - that is going to be a really neat package.
I'm really impressed with the PDM60 as a device of its own standing - so much so I am now a supplier for them! :D
So I'll have these available either stand-alone or integrated into my KeyLess system

Pics of the final integrated PDM60-KeyLess kit coming next week.

OH Yeah!!!
Pant! Pant! Pant!

Incidentally I don't know if this was obvious before:
The Key-less system fundamentally of course bypasses the key-switch (duhhh) - so you eliminate that reliability issue caused by the high headlight current through the switch.

That solves the reliability issue if that is the primary concern - however you will still gain performance improvement (i.e. more lumens out) with addition of a relay kit because you're replacing the OEM wiring with better gauge wiring with low voltage drop across it.

Hi All
Just back from a enthusiastic:rolleyes:ride on the S/C Rocket this is the one i bought of ebay november last year , one of the mods i fitted was Kens (DEcosse )keyless ignition and headlight kit and can confirm that the headlights are burning brighter , anyone thinking of fitting Kens system will be buying a well thought out piece of kit plus very nicely put together plus excellent customer service
The photos Ken used showing the 5 relays are of my bike and the fitting is very simple as its Plug and Play so no cutting /splicing main harness the only place you tap into the harness is for the clutch signal wire and thats just a Positap connection ,, usual disclaimer no connection / not related etc etc .
Still trying to find my way around the forum and will now try and post some photos of the bike so far.

Here is the PDM60 version of the kit - you can see the entire kit is essentially plug n play into OEM (except for single wire connection to the Clutch Signal)

(The connector set for the accessory connections was actually terminated on those outputs prior to ship, with that harness also dressed with the mesh sleeving - I should have taken picture like that :D)
