Keyless Fuel Cap

My guess is when there is not enough juice to roll the engine over, there would most likely still be enough to operate the seat latch solenoid.
When mine was left on (with high beam lights) for two hours and would NOT move the engine at all, it still would sweep and operate the horn.
Again, just my limited 'lectrical thoughts . . .

You would still need the key to get the seat off

This is exactly where I found my key once after doing my own keyless remote ignition. Rode for a lot of miles with friends and started freakin out when we stopped for fuel and couldn't find or remember what I had done with the danged key. Found it hanging in the seat lock. Wendy had a good laugh that day. I was about to sh!t my pants.

Now my new V key is either in the ignition or hanging around my neck.

I've done that a few times myself , as @R3Tex mentioned in the first post . Worst I ever worried was leaving Key West Florida. We stopped for fuel, and I couldn't find my key. Took a couple of minutes of looking before somebody mentioned that I had taken my seat off to put the AirHawk on before we left. Him and Mrs Cindy had a good laugh, but at least I didn't have to break the lock on my gas cap.

Been there done that a couple weeks ago. Thank God for good batteries. I just hit the kill button when I pulled up to my buddies house and walked away. Man was I embarrassed. Thank God I hit the starter and my 920 CCA spun her over like a mad man. I like these keyless and using a servo motor to pop the seat. I will have to go out and look at the wifey's wreck 05 Chevy (present from her son ) and see if the trunk release motor will work out.

it's not just AMPS. It's also volts. It wont matter if you have 20,000amps and less than 9V. The Starter would work, so would the lights (maybe NOT LEDS) , but the ECU would stay steadfastly OFF.

This is true. Although a smaller current draw will cause less of a voltage drop.
