Jardines - more dumb questions.

Ok guys, first dumb question:

I have a new set of non-beer stained Jardines (as opposed to LMGs beer stained set).

I also have Tune boy which I have never used.

I fairly sure I can update the ECU map (I think) since I have plugged the bike in before to see what is was like.

My dumb question is: After I plug the O2 sensor hole with the plug that came with the kit, what do I need to do with the O2 sensor?

Zip-tie it up out of the way? Do I need to put a crankcase filter at the end to keep it clean?

I did a search on the site but it came back with volumes of references to Jardines.

Any help would be appreciated.

N1 can help you on this. He had Jards (which I now have) before his preds. I believe he just taped over the 02 sensor and tucked it out of the way.

I wasn't sure what you meant about Lmg's beer stained set. Where are the photos. I obviously missed them. In this day and age, I am always up for a good laugh.

The beer joke was between LMG, Jimmy, Liz, and Martin.

I posted this a few weeks back:

"Leigh just bought some Beer stained Jardines from Jimmy.
They do have that great Guinness brewery smell though.

Slow down there cowboy.
If you plan on bypassing Lambda Sensor fitment [run open loop] via TuneBoy you would be well advised to remove the assembly @ wiring loom connector.
Having the Lambda Sensor in the exhaust without heater power (unplugged) will trash the sensor in seconds.
Leaving the sensor plugged-in and not in exhaust is just plain dangerous and unnecessary.
With Lambda Sensor heater power applied (plugged-in) the sensor tip does get hot and set you and your beloved Rocket on fire.

So what your telling me is that most people just plug the o2 sensor into the Jars?

Then what is all the crap that's posted about plugging the o2 sensor port on the Jardines about?

I am interested in this because I have the Jards and a Power Commander. The PC comes with 02 sensor eliminator.
