Jardines - are the new (black) ones quieter than the old?

Are the new Jardines - the ones with the black headers - quieter than the old ones?

If so, can they be made as loud as the old ones?

Is it just a matter of removing the baffles?

Huh? What new black ones? All Jardine headers are black, until you slap the chrome HS on them. Did I miss a new Jardine pipe entirely in black?

Yes IMG the BLACK ones are much quieter than the chrome ones.

Every pair of Jardines ive seen are chrome so I >thought< the black headed ones were the new ones.

Irrespecitve of whether black header ones are "new" or not - is there a difference between new Jardines and the older ones?

whats it to you Billy? :wink: I was following Gary and Jim around and liked the sound of the Jardines so might dump my current exhaust and get a set of Jard's on instead.
