Of course not, Hell, I love riding my wife's STriple! And the worst laydown I've ever had was on a Slingshot.
But when the first words out of his mouth are calling the rocket a toy and asking if I have a harley, I can't help but be offended and become offensive Sometimes you just have to put an orange and black wannabe rider in his place! 5 will give you 20 every piece of clothing he has on, down to his smelly socks, will have some sort of HD emblem on them
I was also informed I couldn't ride to the event with their group because it was "harley's only" and I didn't have a "HOG card" Whatever the hell that is
I personally don't care what brand or style of steed the guy next to me is on, as long as he loves to ride as much as I do

I been out with the hog riders a couple of times ,after them telling me that they had screaming eagle this and screaming eagle that i just say that my bike is stock standard and when the opportunity occurs well let's just say the disappointment was all over his face

Should be a very interesting weekend! There's a big Alps ride in Edelweiss here this weekend and I'm sharing a room with a complete stranger. When I talked to him on the phone last night, he asked "Is that Triumph a toy, do you have a Harley for the ride?" Apparently he'd looked at some photos on my Facebook page.

I very politely bit my tongue and let him know very politely that it wasn't a toy; but it does make most harleys look like toys! Somewhat dense, he proceeded to tell me about the 1200 sportster he rides (he went conservative so he could lift it in the event it ends up on the ground)....I wonder if he caught my sarcasm when I said "Oh really, that's what my WIFE used to ride!"

So this is my roommate this weekend...Should be fun! :kk:

Good story but what happens when you share a room with him should be even more interesting!

I have a few bikes of all sizes, i'm just as happy riding the rocket as i am riding the little ninja or the 33cc motorized bicycle, the softail i ride every now and then but i also enjoy it, the hd only club is for people that don't know any better i guess
