Okay so the tank pad was fairly easy. Anyone got any suggestions on installing the knee pads, as far as alignment? I see that the left side has a lip to sort of hook around the metal above the bearclaw. The right side seems fairly wide open for positioning. Anyone have any guidelines?

Measure up from the tank seam on the left in 2 places .Using 2 pieces of masking tape on the right with a piece of cotton between them the masking tape is ment to be apart so as to hold the cotton as a straight edge at the bottom of the knee pad

I think I'll install the left side, then measure down to the tank seam. Then measure up from the tank seam on the right and probably eyeball the angle. And like I did with the tank pad (junk pad), frame it off with masking tape once I have it in a spot I like so I can position it easier for realz. I used a piece of 3/8" hose around the front of the seat to position the tank pad.

Definitely do the left one first, as you noticed it kind of has a place to be. Then match the right one to it. Don't get to anal as you can't be on both sides at once anyway
