Okay, got my tuneECU cable today, pulled map from bike, it was the 20220 (stock silencer no catalyst) no other tweaks to the map. I opened secondary's tweaked Speedo and called it quits. While reading on opening up a triumph rocket earlier, I read that the ignition is different in lower gears and can be "daisy chained" from 5th gear to do away with ignition based restrictions. Is this something I can do with Tune ECU?

I am not sure what you mean by daisy chain but what you should do is highlight the I3 ignition tables by left click and hold in one of the corners while dragging the mouse across at a angle this will change all the table colors to a manilla color. Then you right click and copy (just like any word program) got to the other tables I1 and I2 and highlight them and then right click and paste. Once this is done save the tune under a different name so you always have your original one to go back to. If this worries you you can send me your e-mail address and I will get with you and do it for you.

or you could go to the menu at the top LH corner and press copy table, change to the next table and press paste table. Same deal.

You can indeed - the question is - having read comments from the more qualified over the years - is it actually a good thing?
Good question. Not really knowing the answer myself, perhaps Nev can answer it. The stock ignition tables are the same in all gears except for mid range rpm at less than about 10% throttle, where in the lower gears the ignition is retarded slightly compare to I3. Is this done because it needs to be retarded because there's more load in the lower gears or because they want to lower the power a little so it will be smoother?

Nev, Wayne or very possibly Scott.

TuneECU is a freeware version of the original Tuneboy program developed by Wayne MacDonald in Australia before the Rocket came out. I believe he did the first ever custom dyno tunes for the Rocket directly on the map in the ECU. His tune for Rocket with cat bypass and TORs had I3 copied into I2 and I1.
