Ignition switch is starting to fail.

I installed the DGD system this summer. All sorts of problems and ended up having to chop it up and rewire it myself when they stopped replying to my emails begging for the correct replacement part. Works now, but I wish I had waited and gotten the DeCosse setup.

I had the dealer order pn# T2502540 that's the new plug and switch.

Bike bandit has the switch set up for $425. I think it was.

Im zeroing on that Digital guard dawn key-less ignition set up.

Have one on E bay for $279.

Anyone have this?

Thank you all for the replies. For now I just got a switch on order from the dealer. Im afraid to mess with the electrics on this bike.

The electrics on this bike is by far one of the easiest to mess around with.
Anyway, once you have the new ignition switch installed, you may want to consider replacing the headlights with LED. This at least reduces some of the load having to be carried through the contacts.
