First thought when waking today "Go**** stupid lieutenant" instead of " can't wait to go racing". This is why I was so mad, because of timing more than the damage.

I did the parts list of replacement parts, most of them in the name of safety, as in, "If you the Adjuster will bet your life on the part, go take it up to 180mph and come back other wise your paying this much" is done.

Total Damage: $5950 in replacement parts to make sure its 100% legit.

The bikes insured for 30K, so there's basically no chance they'll write it off.

Don't forget they legally owe you labor time to replace those parts whether or not you do the labor yourself which of course I know you will. But they still owe it......

I am sure that having struck a bike like that he was truly afraid that the owner would crack open his skull. Take solace in the fear he experienced. Hopefully he'll keep his eyes open next time.

But seriously! it was sitting right in his ****ed side mirror view!!

Just saw this post sorry that happened.

Many years back me and a mate were parked in a car-park on the side of a busy road and had left a gap for a another mate to park in between our bikes but were in the lines. We went down the road to an ATM before going to the pub, as we were walking back there was a people mover thingy backing into the car-park in front of our bikes. I made an offhand comment to my mate "Watch this car back over your bike...." They promptly did exactly that I felt so bad. His Ducati was completely written off.

Mate handled it completely calmly, but Ive never seen him ever get upset, the driver was a little old Indian lady, was very apologetic and paid for the bike.

Must learn to watch my big mouth.

The weather in both sets of pictures you posted of the crash scene and the repairs doesn't look very conducive to motorcycle riding. Considering that what is the forecast for race day ? Since we have not heard from you today, please tell us how it went today ?
