I know I'm a sign nut.

Huh? Wait a minute; no don't...

WOW! I just rode that 31 from Mt. Nemo to Mt. Glorious on Google Street View.
Some nice looking stuff to be sure!
Would be REAL strange "fanging" from the left side!
If you can, have a look at the run from Samford over Mt Glorious to Wivenhoe Dam.
The down hill section from the Mt Glorious café to Wivenhoe is a step up from the Mt Nebo road.

Great twisties indeed! BUT!
Please explain what the hell is going on riding into and setting up for curves like this???
Once again I was mostly impressed with how difficult the strange distraction of fanging on the left side would be!
If I ever do come to OZ, these roads will be atop my list!

Pic shows signs for traffic in both directions - normally would only see one set from either direction. But I know you already know this.

I spent an hour "cruising" this road on Google Street View.
Would very much like to ride it - at reasonable lefty speed! :D
The area really reminds me of the Great Smokey Mountians!

By the shiny new appearance of the guard rail I'm guessing they haven't got around to setting up the signs properly after they retrieved who ever made an untidy exit. This fun bit of road is well known for claiming the inattentive. I've got rellies in the area and they often hear the emergency vehicles heading through to pick up casualties. Wasn't too long ago one unfortunate rider was killed when he cleaned up a wallaby on the Wivenhoe Dam side. This road has a procession of bikes every weekend.

Also worth looking at is the Dayboro to Mt Mee road, this run can be linked via Kilcoy to the Mt Glorious run for hours of fast action.

Glorious and Nebo best ridden mid-week. Weekends are just a pain , cops and dickheads that think they are Rossi everywhere. I built us a house out at Dayboro and worked at the XXXX brewery back then. Great ride to work everyday. 6am starts everyday , was riding an 88 cube shovelhead with straight through pipes .. neighbours must have hated me... hahaha
