I know I'm a sign nut.

By the shiny new appearance of the guard rail I'm guessing they haven't got around to setting up the signs properly after they retrieved who ever made an untidy exit. This fun bit of road is well known for claiming the inattentive. I've got rellies in the area and they often hear the emergency vehicles heading through to pick up casualties. Wasn't too long ago one unfortunate rider was killed when he cleaned up a wallaby on the Wivenhoe Dam side. This road has a procession of bikes every weekend.

Also worth looking at is the Dayboro to Mt Mee road, this run can be linked via Kilcoy to the Mt Glorious run for hours of fast action.

Surely it be a magnet attraction for motors!
I even greased three motors whilst riding it on Google Street View!!!

It was the Dayboro Mt Mee road that brought me undone back when my Roadster was fairly new.

Now that I have "ridden" that one I can see the added danger of more large straights and higher advisories (50Km/h) curves than the Nebo and Glorious.

A scant hour from my front door and this is by no means the best death defying set of twisties in the area:

I own these, too:

shopping

Look at the front and back of the first Tee shirt! I bought it at one of george carlin's very last live stand-up shows... http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5335943355&icep_item=261801891662

Few corners on that road that are really tricky hey. Wasn't built with motorcycles in mind .. unlike Tassie.
My old man had a hobby farm on Mt Mee in the 70's and I used to time myself every weekend on the run from Dayboro to the top on my ported water bottle.
Only milk trucks and the occasional local on the wrong side of the corner to worry about.
Can't believe the ****e the cops give bikes on the road these days
