I am trying to visit the Triumph factory!

Hiya - if you are heading our way and planning on getting round the Birmingham area make a point of calling in the National Motorcycle Museum at Solihull. Its well worth it and even have a couple of R3's on display. Huge collection and a good day out. Cheers. Ron

Mittzy you are never far from anywhere in England when you compare it to the distances we travel. Even if you're in Southampton it's still only a day trip (reasonable longish admittedly) and motorway all the way. Its about 2 1/2 hours to Birmingham.
If you did it as an overnighter you would have plenty of time.

Mittzy .. better grab me a ticket too. Richard gets quite teary and emotional at weddings , i can just make sure he stays in his seat and doesn't ruin the proceedings ..no,no,no i'm glad to assist
 
Thanks TC. Nice to know who my real mates are. Mittzy seems to have dumped us for his "new" pommy friends. And when I think of the trouble we went to when he spat the dummy and threw his bike on the ground.......

Hey Mittzy,
Viv & I managed to scam a tour of the factory a while back..
Don't know where I found it but I got hold of the PR managers email and barraged him with emails saying where we were coming from and would like to work our holiday around a tour..
He came through and put on a very interesting walk around the factory.
My advice = annoy the hell out of them and they may come through.
