Dave, it's true that...

... but that doesn't do much to dull the pain of losing a loving and loyal friend.

Behave yourself and you'll rejoin your canine friends when your time comes!

In the meantime, I feel your pain and offer you sincere condoences for your loss.

Sitting here with a very heavy heart had to put one of my Bosties down today due to kidney failure, not really sad he had fourteen great years and spoiled rotten like all our dogs are.
My heart feels like it weighs a ton because I will not see his wee face again, will not see him pounding towards me again, will not see him begging for my food again, he was/is a great wee guy and talk about unconditional love gave you every thing and asked for nothing in return except a pat on the head.
Not looking for any sympathy guys just wanted to share a wee bit about my Jimmie to my friends on this site.

A terrific homage to your Bostie!
That there are reasons why dogs are SO MUCH better than peeps!!!

If true, just imagine how MANY dogs shall be greeting you!!! :inlove

Sorry to hear of your dogs Brother, been there a few times already too and it is always a gut tearer.

Zat a dog or a poofter? :p

That is why I have never been to a hairdresser only a barber and not for many years. I still use US made Wahle dog clippers on myself for a No.#1 comb crew cut when I feel the need. They did good service without a comb at all on my long dead Husky coated / Heeler cross in tropical Darwin for years and have never been sharpened ex-factory. I used to leave her tail and head and clip the rest to the skin a couple of time a year - took about 2-3 hours each time as the fur at the skin was just like felt.
