A screw must have rattled out of the heat shield on my R3R. I did some searching around and all I could find was an old post from 2007 that had some replacement part numbers but they don't seem to be valid anymore.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement screw for the one missing in the picture?

A parked and un-attended Rocket 3 ..... joking :p any nut and bolt store be able to help with a replacement .. probably won't be chromed. Local Triumph shop be able to order one in.... be 6 to 8 weeks before you get it though

I have had the same issue. I got a satinless one at what is called fastnel. I purchased several in case it happened again. I think they were like 80 cents each

It's not a bad idea to check these from time to time along with
the ones around the radiator ;)

What RayJay said and . . .
Don't know how long you have had your R3R; but, after 1000 miles I went over my 2012 R3R and was amazed how loose many of the bolts and nuts were - like hand tight. I'm going to go over mine checking for tightness every 1000 miles.
Thanks for the heads up,

Thanks for the feedback guys... I ended up working around the issue by removing the same type of screw off the bottom of the radiator guard where you cant even see it to replace the missing one on the heat shield and found a standard looking screw in my garage to put on the radiator guard.

I also got some locking washers and replaced the stock washers on all the screws and made sure they were nice and tight.

I'll be keeping an eye out for a web site or a store to have these replacements and when I do I'll probably grab a handful of them.

On a side note... are there any other sets of screws or bolts that frequently rattle off or work loose that you can suggest I check without actually checking every single screw or bolt on the bike?

My local True-Value hardware store has a section of chrome metric screws and bolts in their bulk hardware aisle. If a T-V store exists in you area, check there.
