I'm not even fond of the way my R3T looks without the windshield because of that front plate but at least it's dominated by a big 7-inch headlight. That does look pretty darn ugly.

Over-customizing bikes from the factory is a real blight on the landscape. All the stuff like fairings, topbox, stereos can be retrofitted by people who want that sort of thing. Alternatively, I wouldn't be against it if it was an option package you added onto the purchasing price of the bike. But some of the bikes coming out now are already pre-customized to the point that third party shops have to start going to ludicrous lengths to do anything to them. Bike manufacturers should just put out basic normal bikes and let the aftermarket take care of customizing.
