Since you are getting the ECU re-flashed, can you maybe hold off on removing the emissions gear, just to get an apples to apples comparison. Hopefully that's it but the high pressure still bothers me.

I have not removed any emission hoses as of yet but the day is coming, could the high pressure be due to the fact that I have the Carpenter 210 kit which includes
CNC Ported Head
• Custom-Ground Proprietary Cam
• Slotted Adjustable Cam Sprockets
• 12 Custom, Shim-Under Tappets
• Custom Titanium Retainers
• Custom Valve Springs
• Custom Clutch springs
the ported head and cam should increase pressure along with the valve springs.
I have located a Dyno Tuner with a good reputation pretty close to me (from Glenrothes to Dunfermline) so planning on setting up an appointment some time soon.
