Forward to mid controls.

For those that have switched from forward controls to mid controls at a dealership, what happens to the forward control parts, do you get them back- so you could possibly sell them or does the dealership take them as part of the process and off set them against the cost of parts and fitment?

You will get those parts back in case you want to pay them another $500 to reinstall back to original position

So if I sold them, would the buyer need any other parts to sucessfully mount them, i.e. does the workshop utilize some of the parts from the forward controls in the mids application, in which case they would be missing and be unable to sucessfully fit the forward kit without further purchase of the ""missing" parts? Sorry bit long winded...

It uses some parts. The kit is to complete what you need to get to mid.

Only if he is going from silver to black or the other way. The conversion kits need parts off the bike to complete the swap.
