The bike started to act like s**t would not idle had to rev the balls off it to stop it from stalling so last night in the cool air I made a 300mile run for home, once going it felt lumpy but made it home okay, checked out with ecu all seems well checked all hoses look good even replaced the TPS from my other rocket still the same,
Now first thing this morning I changed the plugs and boy were the black the mileage sucks so a new tune is in order after changing the plugs it ran okay for about 10miles then started again now it will not even try to idle.
Might have to put all my parts back on old faithful for MV any ideas I know warp is helping be behind the scenes but I would really like to take this bike to MV

Did you check the TPS?

All seems good according to Tune ECU I even swapped it out from old faithful but still the same

If it runs clean and with normal power when you are 'on the gas' but won't run well idling & cruising, it very much would point to a MAP sensor issue.

Take a look at the MAP sensor and hoses; look for leaks
If you run TuneECU you could possibly see the problem reflected in the MAP sensor readings if that is the issue (look at the tests screen to get the three cylinders individual readings)

If you have (or had) vapour emissions canister, ensure there are no open hoses associated with that

Forgot to add it does have a power commander V installed first time I have had a bike with a power commander, as said the plugs I removed this morning were black and as the milage really sucks a new tune looks a certainty

Just starting it in-the garage(with doors open) you have to twist the throttle to get it to start then even holding it at 3000rpm it will surge up and down let go and it dies.

Do you have OEM O2 sensor enabled?
Note that will attempt to 'correct' for any changes the pcv created
Reset adaption & be sure your OEM O2 sensor is not in play

I would still look first to map sensor related issues

Downloaded the pc program and this is what I found, according to this that tune cannot be correct for what is on this bike?

I talked to Eric and he is going to check to see what information he has. Also this map could be fore both it sure looks like it is stating that since it says 2009 to 2011 Rocket and then states Rocket Touring. At this point we cannot tell if Carpenter supplied it or if it was done by the shop that put the kit in. I will call again Monday morning with and send a copy of this to Carpenter so we can see if it is a base map or maybe a altered base map. Also should probably make sure you have the updated firm ware in the PCV as I know they update their stuff and had a few bugs in the early software. I think Art had to have his changed on his.

I did see the option to update the firmware I will do that
