Can anyone recommend a good Dyno Tuner in Virginia? I've called a few leads and they are either Harley Specific or don't do any more than piggy back systems like PCV. Non have instilled confidence over the phone that they could do a good job. Oddly enough the Triumph dealer didn't have any ideas? o_O

www.mrpmotorsports.com knows TuneECU and Commander V tuning, to dyno and open the ECU and the cost of a power commander $900.00, talked to the guy for 30 minutes he knows his stuff.

He's not in Virginia -- though is within an hour of NoVA - so would also be a resource for Maryland, Delaware, and southern PA.

Yes that is why I listed him, when I talked to him he said all could be done on appt. Arrive in the morning drive home that afternoon. I am 2 hours away.

The dyno guy at Shenandoah Harley Davidson has been know to say that they will work with a customer on most any bike. I suspect however, that may be limited to doing the dyno runs and letting you fuss with TuneECU as the results come through. The parts counter also will order any part you care to ask for. So long as they can locate a source they don't care what brand or bike its for.

Ya, I don't think that is really an option. I live a few miles from them and while they are a top notch Harley distributor with huge inventory, there isn't anything there that isn't Harley. Nice folks and good reputation for the Harley crowd but they aren't going to let you go back in the shop bays and work with one of their tech guys.
If I'm going to pay hundreds of dollars for a dyno tune, I'd like the assurance that they are familiar with tuning Triumph Rockets.
