Does anyone have a Go Pro Hero 3 with a side mount for the helmet? Do not believe my helmet will be any good for a top mount.

Also, do to Bluetooth I will have to mount on the right side of the helmet.

I have the same cameras with a bag full of mounts that i haven't used yet. At MV I had one on the right fork and one on the left engine guard...videos came out great

I thought about putting one on the engine guard, but then I could not get some shots of the scenery like I could with a helmet mount. Problem with my helmet is that the only viable place is on the right side. Not sure how that is going to work out.

Saw a video of a guy putting everything together and mounting it n the left side. Guess I will have to see if I can reverse that around for the right:).

I have mine mounted on the handlebar clutch side and it peeks out around my Corbin fairing. Does pretty good.

back on topic, go pro works fine anywhere you can mount it where it wont fall off.

If you dont tell the camera where it is it'll just work as though it doesnt know??????:D

With the gunshot deal, the guy was probably fed up with the squids blasting by his home. Maybe a shot in the air was better than one in the head. We used to have a big group of squids around here, almost every Sunday. You could hear them coming for miles, WTFO. Saw one local sitting in his P/U truck, engine running, with his air boat on trailer, just waiting to back out in front of the pack. Guess they slowed down, as I never heard a crash. The golden rule is, "If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough".:)

Maybe you could put your helmet on backwards ? Just a thought ;)

I mounted mine on the right top of the forks directly beneath the headlight. Worked out awesome. Now I watch videos of my favorite routes when I get bored here in Afghanistan.
