Gas mileage

Glad you feel one up on the next guy. By the way that is 67,000 miles on a Rocket X bought brand new in 2015. Original owner. Yes I have made a few runs but never thought about it. Pull in get gas and go. Leave the change in the little bowl by the counter and ride on. By the way if you had mention a run we might have communicated. Top that HA HA. Can already hear you explaining " Man I ride serval bikes" On And On. Bla By Bla By Bla.

I take a lot of pride in riding. Am 62 years old with basically a broken back. Just started Physical Therapy. Still I get up every morning and ride 57 miles one way to work. Sometimes I wonder why Ride. A Little voice in my head keeps telling me "it is not that bad ride" So we do. Never been a fan of cars to me a bike is my transportation and my weekend toy. I do spend about $4.00 to $6.50 a day in gas. Never did the math. Some days I just chill and ride other days want to race anybody stupid enough to. Some days I wipe them clean other days they wipe me clean. It is all good. Were good.

I'm 57, ride year around and up to a year ago rode 50+ miles round trip to work and 200+ miles weekend round trip to the town I currently live in and yes between two bikes the Victory Cross Country and the Suzuki V-Strom that I've since sold I was riding 25,000+ a year. I was wearing the Vic out riding to work so I bought the Strom to wear out. I also put down the miles. The Vic averaged 43-45mpg and the Strom average 54-57mpg. I now ride 12 miles round trip to work and now live in my weekend home. I am going on a day ride tomorrow. Still riding daily just not as far.

Sure we're good, we are just talking. Ain't no thang.

I ride year round in Oklahoma. This time of the year bikes are few and far between during the morning hours. By the end of next month they will be long gone. Live south of a little town in Oklahoma by the name of Henryetta. Got about 30 acres and a house and a few cows. All paid for. Forgot about the chickens. Three chicken copes and around 300 chickens. All good layers. I like to work just as much as ride. Work around the house is OK but still not ready to quit the big city. Kind of get a kick out of it. Watch them folks kiss up and do there best to look good at work. Me I am Known as the Grumpy welder. Spend most of my time working RD with the engineers and love it. Retirement?
