FRONT MASTER CYLINDER REBUILD KIT

If you had that spring reversed, you can't get any fluid down the lines. If you look at the holes at the bottom of the reservoir and actuate the brake lever you should see spring coils moving by the hole. The piston with the o-rings is the pressure boundary and the rubber cup on the spring is the fluid seal, so all that stuff is opposite the banjo fitting. Spring large end goes toward the banjo.

Someone (not me I didn't think of it) sent him the assembly picture out of the work manual. So I expect he's got it in correctly. Haven't seen if its still no bueno.

In the transmission world there is a part called the bullet a very well named part
So 8t has a 2 inch spring with the bullet 3/8 by 1/2 with a round head and depending on which way you have it pointed it will ricochet of the roof or a couple of walls and the trick is to watch where both the spring and bullet goes.
Lol
On some cars it is what makes the click when the lever.is moved through the gears.
