2014 R111 T and 2012 R111 Roaster
I just got a new 2112 Roadster and I want to put floorboards on it like I had on my 05 rocket. Has anyone made the changes required yet?I am looking for a little info if you have because from all I can find it looks like if I want them I will have to make the changes myself.

Look under floorboards in the search. I know Helfire(RIP) had them, and was talking to Hanso about the change. Don't know if instructions were given. I put them on my 1992 Softail, and they were very comfortable. My 2010 R3touring has them stock, and I don't think I would ever want a long distance cruiser without them.
Good luck,
Kid

I bought the Floor board kit ( it comes complete with mounting Rails and brake line) from triumph and love it I can't see any reason why it wouln't work with your roadster unless there is an issue with the brake line (ABS?)

fOR WHAT ITS WORTH AND THEY LOOK GOOD AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO TO ALL THE EXTRA EXPENSE for different rails and ect.,big fingers and the caplock ,sorry,at any rate check out the Kuryakyn Constellation board #4457 and their Triumph splined adapters #8813. Retail total $225 and you can get them less if you shop the Fleabay. If you have long legs you can also get their 2 inch long adapters #8837 $50.00 and set the boards a little lower than the control rail too. I have this setup on my R3R already. They have another floorboard out too that fits this same splined adapter for the Rocket3.I chose the 4457 as I have a long foot size. If your interested in seeing them installed on the R3R I'll take and send you a pic if you like, just LMK.

So the #8813 adapter fits well on the Roadster?

Just for the record I think the Kuryakyn stuff to be cheaply made and weak I had set of the Dually Pegs as I was not sure I wanted floorboards and they SPLIT where the adapter goes imto the peg and no I didn't over tighten them they are junk, should have been suss when they sell so much cheaper the the Triumph or Rifco gear

I had Dually pegs on my Valk and a second set as highway pegs on the same bike...sold the bike to a friend. All 4 pegs are still fine....after 13 years of use.

Kuryakyn stuff is very heavy....but has held up fine on the Valk.

I had a set of Switchblades on my 05 Rocket...for a while, befor I put on Triumph floorboards.

I took them out of the box and looked to see how they would fit on my Roadster...

They were a different size clevis pin and the width was off....I assumed that the Roadster peg fitting had changed but the #8813 adapter is the same for "all" Rockets according to the fitment chart...that's why I asked in my previous post.

Trapper please keep us informed as to what you do with the floorboards. I just picked up a 2011 Rocket Roadster. Thanks

Thanks guys I am looking into the Kuryakyn stuff as well as the boards that come on the R111 classic. It will be neat if I like the Kuryakyn boards because the R 111 stuff will take some modification to make them work and the cost appears to be a lot higher.
I will keep you informed as to which way I go

I had R3R controls on my R3R,changed them to standard R3 controls. The Kuryakyn parts fit either rail as long as they are for footpegs. The foot control rails are too hihg up on the bike for my legs thats why I went with that 2 " drop down which is for the passenger pegs, its works fine on driver end too. At any rate if you like it it gves you a choice and many $ less too and they look good. BTW I used the 2" extension to get my knees down some more and you don't have to use it,it was just my choice to get my feet lower down. With just the Triumph splined adapter and the floorboard of Kurys is plenty and its adjustible too,up and down laterally as well as up and down with the splines vertically too.

Trapper, sent you two pics too,id of posted them but they both are over 1 meg in size and Ive no way to size them down. Now you do have a choice.
