Finally got my 2016 R3R dyno'd with the AFR working!

And Steve (@1olbull ) while you're here, is there some network (formal, informal; official, unofficial) of tuners your guy might know that might lead to someone east of the Mississippi to whom folks could take their bikes to be all they can be given the various mods ?

always at or below the so called ideal 14.7 air/fuel ratio
Oh dear. 14.7 is the stoichiometric value of petrol ( in theory) which is the emissions target for EPA etc. This has been done here before. With all due respect sir if you tell folk to set their bike to that at anything above about 5% throttle, it will hurt it. BELOW is the key word in that phrase.

Looks a bit better than bone stock AFR curves, but not much.

You'll gain some power and much smoother feeling after getting it tuned, as well as responsiveness in throttle transition states.

Once tuned your likely to pick up a couple pounds of torque, a broader torque plateau before it starts to fall off a few hundred RPM, and about 10 whp if tuned right, with little/no roll off up top, just a HP plateau until redline.

Another fine example of my entire PSA from a long time ago...

$250 says if he did a pull in 3rd, it wouldn't swing lean above 5500, it'd stay in the 12:1 range all the way to redline.

Paul,
I have seriously inquired and there are none in US known to Nels.
I'm trying to convince him to start training some folks OJT. Hard to make serious money all by yourself.
My latest conive is getting @Claviger hooked up with Nels as Nels has two dynos, one in a trailer for service to the track racers.
Just in the dream stage right now. Perhaps when Rob musters out we ca buy our own Dyno . . .

When I get out, I may end up getting some formal education to fill my gaps in knowledge on tuning and doing it, but I'm NEVER EVER FOR ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY EVER EVEN COME ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE MOVING TO THE EAST COAST OR SOUTH OR MIDWEST so....

Why do you say that for the 3rd pull?

Not sure but I think @Claviger means a run in 3rd gear rather than a 3rd run. I want to know the answer too! What gear were you runs in the graph made in? I have never had a bike dyno run but did have them done on a 4 wheel dyno for a couple of AWD cars. Those had 5 speed tiptronic autos and were done in 3rd gear from memory.
