Finally got my 2016 R3R dyno'd with the AFR working!

Yeah I saw a few shops closing that have them listed, ones local with a ton of accessories. 2 year old 250i with the v8 upgrade 10,500. Doesn't seem too bad a price, pickup only, wish I was in the market now.... 3 years to go lol.

Well gang, she's all custom tuned up! Just rode her home and cant believe the difference...I thought she was running dead on before but even smoother now! Here is the new graph...didn't gain much power but the AFR is now dead on and safe all the way up to 7200 rpm! Again, let me know your thoughts now that she has a custom tune...

If you think it rides well now , wait until you get it tuned properly.
Nearly there, bearing in mind we can only see WOT fuelling. It is really a waste of time revving it past 6200 except for showing off as it loses power significantly after that. This is normal with a stocker.

Yes. That's the only graph they printed but they tune it all over the rev range and dam is it smooth now!!!
 
I would like to see the AFR during the WOT pull consistently below 13.0 I have mine set at 12.5 for WOT on my Dobeck Performance AFR Plus. When on the dyno that setting gets me the highest power reading. Even dropping it to 12.7 shows a slightly less power reading.
 
My experience as well Idaho. 13.2 was best power, 12.8 was 4 hp less, 13.7 was 3 hp less so there's your window.

Glad to hear your happy with the results and it feels smoother, that's the goal after all, a safe mix that feels right means a happy motor.
 
Any guesses on how power I will gain when I install my Viking header and mid pipe? I will get it retuned as well of course once installed.
 
20-25 gain max with TORs and RamAir maybe a little more possible with a more open exhaust from other's results. I assume you are maintaining a stock collector pipe diameter to join the TORs and it can differ as well depending on the header pipe size/diameter you ordered from Viking Exhausts.
