Well it explains plenty. Hanso kindly sent me some tunes after I got the CES headers and I downloaded one. It worked great for a while and then suddenly started running like a pig and not idling. Sometimes it was OK. I recently asked if tunes can be "unstable" and no one took it seriously. Worst thing I ever did to my bike was fiddle with the tune. Hopefully I can restore it to what it was before. Thanks for posting Hanso. I really wish I'd left it alone though.

FWIW - I ran HansO's tune for over 20,000 miles for nearly two years with absolutely no issues.
Now I have a custom dyno tune done with my CES which were an incredible improvement.
Just sayin' . . . sounds like this error pertains to certain Rocket models and perhaps not a fault of the tune.

Yes and copy over the ignition tables from the 4th to first three gears of course this is one of the beauties of the PCV but not every one has a PCV so I try to tweak the fuel maps and ask the recipients to give feed back to further improve if necessary a couple of times it has been three or fourth go before the person was happy with the bikes running but that has been with some extreme or unusual (read radical) home customisations to the bike exhaust, this is so the bike is safe to ride till they can get to a dyno and have it professionally tuned, surprisingly in one case the dyno guy said we had it dam close

Interesting . . . mine is 2014 R3T, with supposedly the latest tune from Triumph last month, and it still does it.

Joe have you had your TPS checked and sync'ed with the Stepper motor as that can cause it, if you don't have TuneECU take to a dealer and when they do it tell them it want the correct setting of .6 at TPS and .72 at Stepper motor the difference should not be more than .12 Triumph says it can be .12 +/- .02 but I say take the time and set it accurately.

My TPS and Stepper motor sync was spot on which is why it was baffling me I was starting to look at other sensors when I happen to mention it to Neville, I am surprised that it has not been revealed to us before! as basicly anyone running a 20050 tune is likely have this come and rear it's ugly head out of the blue

Joesmoe - How many miles have you done?. Mine had spate of stalling when it had about 2000-3000kms on the clock. But in any case - take it to Triumph - warranty. It stalls and should not.
