Here are the pre-tuning results of my Dyno run yesterday.

They couldn't complete the tuning as my rear tire is shot and they feared
that it would not hold up to repeated dyno runs. I ordered a new one
and will try again.

It has not been running well in the cool mornings since I put the pipes
on (backfiring, stalling) and getting worse by the day. The
tech was able to make an adjustment to the zero-throttle PCIII
settings as shown in the map below and it seems OK today although
the idle was now at 800-900RPM.

Any suggestions for smoothing this out on my own before I can get back
to a pro would be most appreciated!

Tweak to smooth out zero-throttle:

Wow.... I'm having a hard time believing that you should be in the 25-28 range on the 0 column....... mine goes no higher then 18 if I remember right. Unless your elevation is dramatically different then mine. Unfortunately dont have access to my map at this point to compare....... maybe Miami has some comments........ he has also had some custom mapping done.

Yes, I'd love to see some other maps for similar setups.

I can definitely say that the decel backfiring and stalling issue is
GONE (hopefully for good). Its running smoothly again.

Perhaps its one of those cases where it just needs to be higher than
the default and is OK to have values over what is actually needed. The
values after red line RPM are not really relevent.

I would have to research whats really going on to say for sure whether
these values are too high. I'm all ears if anyone has ideas/comments.

Here is the Jardine map before the dyno guy tweaked it.

He realy bumbed up the values at 1500RPM reaching 28 at 2750 and
running that all the way to 6750...

Somethings wrong-Rocks generally put out mre RWTQ that RWHP. PM me your email, and I will send you my file. What are your mods again? Just Jardines and factory K&N? With just that, you are not far off-except you are choking the Jardine exhaust-so that number may be close.

Jethro had some wierd, low numbers too, until the did the 3KN's...

After looking at your maps again do you realize that you paid them to just bump up the values in the zero column? Yes it will kill the poping on your deceleration but so will the Jardine map from powercommander itself. Seems odd to me that your values are exactly the same everywhere else as the stock Jardine map. The chances of Jardine hitting the perfect map for your area/ altitude/humidity etc. is astronomical. I think you may have got the shaft on a custom tune.......... :? Miami.... I would be interested in looking at your custom map just to do some personal comparisons. If you would be so kind as to send me your map????

You are exactly right - they couldn't do an actual tune as my rear tire was
shot after 2 runs. The tech only changed the zero-throttle position to fix the
backfiring and stalling.

My new tread will be here Tuesday but now my local dealer is saying they can't
get me in until the 17th. When the tire comes in I'll remove the rim and take it in and
drop it off and maybe they can squeeze it in that way.

Once I get the new tire I can reschedule the dyno tuneup.

I also downloaded the PCIII Accelerator Pump, enabled it and have been playing around with
different settings. So far so good and she's actually running great now but I don't want to push it with the baldy.

Is everyone leaving the 20054 in as the base ECU still or going back to the 20050 map?

I left my base map in but it was 20048 from the factory....... it's evan stamped on the sticker under the right side panel 20048. I'm assuming that it is the same as the stock 20055.
