Dyno run results with Jardines, K&N, Seat mod, Iridium P

Yes, all set. I was comparing the Jardine one and yours and they modified quite a few
cells. I'm down right now waiting for my tire to arrive but I plan on just throwing yours in
and seeing what it does.

I had my mind set on doing the under-tank filter to get closer air intake to yours but
the cone others are using was out of stock everywhere I called. I'm sure there are alternatives that would squeeze into that tiny space, but my job and other hobbies are
interfering with my research.

If anyone reading this switched out their under-seat K&N for the triples and wants to
get rid of their old K&N let me know.

You have to call K&N direct to get the filter you need.

They will not be out of stock.

You might not want to use Miami's map...... I would think it would be to lean being that you are 550 ft. difference in elevation. I know elevation makes a big difference with a carburator...... not sure how much the EFI can make up for this though....... unfortunately this plug and play generation has me back in the learning bracket :cry: Just a thought.......

550 feet won't make that much of a difference-plus the Rock can make adjustments from the Hardmap (which the PC becomes part of) based upon temps & elevation.

K&N RU-5111 under-tank filter

I called K&N and they too are out of stock and should have more out in a week.

I cut out the middle man and ordered directly through them. Direct price was $30 US
-vs- $27 through a distributer. It was worth $3 to get it a week (or two) quicker.

ps. Scooch if you're back on-line that car tire looked awesome last week! At $250-$300
for a new one and going through 3 a year I can see why you made the switch. I managed
to get 8650 on mine and she's ready to blow.

OK, that was strange. The RU-5111 showed up on my doorstep last night.

Looks like K&N has released the new batch.

I'm going away for the weekend but will put it in next week

I also found a shop in town with 4 240 Metzlers in stock and they installed mine Wednesday
and rescheduled a dyno tune for the 24th.

As per my other post I figured out how to take an average of two maps and upload it
to the PC so I will try that and see if I can get it closer to where it should be before
I pay $60/hr for someone to do it right...

Yes, I found the rear for $171 + $15 shipping. It showed up Thursday.

The RU-5111 K&N filter is for the under-tank mod. I'll be doing it tonight.
