Ok im back from the dyno
i posted results on pcv thread but here they are again
Firstly thank you to stephen grose at power house dyno-tuning for the great service very happy.
set up = 2009 rocket 3 standard
triple K&N filters RU-2780
Sams headers
staintune pipes and collector
Gipro atre
power comander five - didnt use auto tune was told it would not be needed on my bike after it was mapped.
150.87 hp and 156.53 ft lbs of torque
and the bike runs great the best it has since ive owned it very impressed. dyno chart is on pcv thread it wont let me post it twice

I would think headers mate the stock ones are very restrictive

Yeah but even when I put just the Staintunes on I noticed a kick in the pants then the headers gave it another kick of power and even faster responce also more refined and smoother down low and all way to the top
Mitch did you have a better tune in when you only had the Staintunes on

I noticed the difference with both just the stains then the stains and the headers also
but the real difference came with the PCV and dyno tune
i am a true convert a custom dyno tune is always going to be better than a mail order tune it doesnt matter what u bolt on if its not dialed in correctly imo i think all the gear with a map that is just a ballpark map is a waste of potential.
i dont think u notice how important it is until its done because things get bolted on and custom tunes loaded and u think gee this is great power and smooth but then you get a dyno tune and realise what u thought was running good wasnt even close to the optimum. my midrange is unbe****inglievable now i feel like i have a new machine its a dream to ride in any situation. I even took it to work yesterday just so i could ride it a little more. even if you only gain a little power on the dyno it will sureley smooth your bike out from stop to flat out and the areas u thought wher already smooth become orgasmic. but in saying that i guess u also need someone who knows their stuff on the dyno tuner u dont want any old cowboy doing it
