I'm not at home right now but questing at about 45-50 mil...say
1 1/2 - 2 inch...something like that...
Nice to actually see the rack on a bike - Thanks! They will supply 50, 75, and 95mm thick pads. I have ordered the 50mm (2" for 'merican brothers).

You will receive 4 spacers which go between the rack and the bike that the bolts go thru...2 narrow ones and two fatter ones...male sure the rack is positioned right in the middle of the guard before choosing which side the spacers go...

I still wish someone would make a rack that only attaches to the pillion seat mounting holes (3) instead of the fender mounts. I rarely ride with the pillion in place.

Hi Gregger, I can see your point and it would make life easier. Got the rack, well made, no marks or blemishes etc. but... and this is a BIG but - wrong thread on the front mounting bolts!! Arrrggghhhhhhh................................Do I bother contacting the supplier to change them? Nah, far quicker to go the Nut and Bolt store as they're on the shelf and 3 quid for a pair.

Someone did RIVCO chrome XMAS TREE version specifically for the R3 but now out of production.

I have one fitted now and for extra rack capacity behind it, a stock chrome rack with a @Mittzy stainless quick release mount without the sissy bar which I can add or remove without touching the seat or RIVCO rack. The RIVCO ones still come up on eBay occasionally and circulate here on the forum too.

They were US made but sold and listed in numerous places in the UK, US and Australia so they are out there - I was in shock when I saw some UK prices which were much more than US prices - £125.83
