a confusable Yank
The Yanks would definitely be confused (at least this one anyway). I am going to give you an example of how easily I am confused when it comes to driving in strange lands. On my first driving visit to the U.K., a long while back, I was very impressed to see the road signs pointing out the scenic views of the country. I though how nice it was that signs with cameras were put up next to the road to point out the most beautiful spots for the tourists. After a few hours of driving I remarked to my wife that I did not see why England & Scotland thought so much of some of these spots in the road to put up the tourist camera sign as most of them were nothing special. She thought I was kidding and didn't bother to point out to me how stupid I was. A while later that day I came up on a camera sign that actually had a smaller sign below it that said Speed Camera or something similar. Up until that point I had never seen or heard of a Speed Camera. True story from a true moron. Three weeks after returning to the States I received a nice letter from the Tourist Board thanking me for visiting their country (yep, a speeding ticket charge forwarded to me by my rental car company). I'm very surprised I only got one ticket.
