Do I still need to remove them using Power Tripp Tune?

It depends on whether you want them to be open all the time or not. With just the tunes they open 100% in each gear without them now matter what is programmed they are open even when the engine is not running I am not sure what happens when the clutch s pulled in. I do wonder if they start to shut every time you pull the clutch in to shift gears. The ignition timing map does according to the gurus at tune boy. I never asked about the throttle plates and would only put them back in if I was going to use the launch control feature.
