In my signature you will find, amongst other things, instructions for a cheap keyless ignition bypass.

Hi Hillbilly from one of the more mature(?) gentleman from the British Isles. I've been following your issues with the wiring and am hoping you get to the bottom of the problem. Good luck!!

Hope they where intended:whitstling: Electrical problems don't get me started(pun intended)I say fit ramair if you have oem air filter will remove all that pluming make it much easier to see wiring under tank and other maintenance .which can only help your situation and a positive change in performance:thumbsup:

Thanks heaps everyone for your input seems the clutch switch was the culprit, couldn’t work out how to pull the thing apart without destroying it so I removed the lever sprayed half a can of contact cleaner in and wriggled it about a bit and f—k me dead I’m as happy as a fox in a chook house. She’s all back together and touchwood every time I hit the starter away it goes time for some boot scooting thanks again everyone without the help of this forum I would have been up s—t creek and probably a lot poorer

Good work!!!...Sounded like a dead short to me with that "Clunk"...maybe a bit of water in there or a bit of shyte...
