Dave Platt Roadster system

As others have mentioned above, the Roadster system will fit the Classic, but not the other way around due to the ABS box underneath.
The Roadster and Touring have the R/H mounting bracket for the cross over pipe in a different position to the three pipe CAT Box, also the Roadster has different mounting brackets for the Mufflers/Silencers.
The headers are the same.

On a different subject, can one of you Brits (as I know this is a Brit term) explain to me this "near side" term please ?
If I'm standing on the R/H side of the bike it is the "near side", that is, nearest to me.
If I am standing on the L/H side of the bike, that is the "near side", nearest to me.

Always had me confused that one.

But your down under so its all upside down:D

I seem Mully's supertrap can on his roadster over the lady weekend. With Paul's header. He did add a section of stainless pipe from the header. Darn good looking set up. Just adding a harley type can to the header looks like well let me just add some ***** ** **** can and hope no one will notice the section with no shield. I'm not saying don't do it just look around to see if you can find something that looks like it is supposed to be there. Although Mully did not use thr oem header the 15 degree stainless pipe he took to the muffler shop for a little expansion by a tech looks great. Maybe he can post a picture comparison.

Also with Pauls header I can see a fee different mufflers that would look good. As for those who don't want the far side empty. I can say I was one of you. And now I do not think it looms empty. Find a Jardine system Patrick fitted one off his 06 on to his roadster.

As we drive on the left the side nearest the kerb becomes the nearside the other side nearest the middle of the road is then refed to as the offside ... this ones got nothing to do with football that's the off side rule and a completely different thing all together

PAUL BRYANT makes the shield that covers that small section and it comes with his slipon there is one being made here that can be used with any of the slipons that you want to use

No his header is clean and the one I seen was chromex ceramic coated so it blends right in with the rest of the polished stuff I wish I had taken a picture of it. Maybe one of the other guys did or he might come along and post one..

So if there being made do you have one on yours yet. as the pictures you sent me did not.

YES Paul makes a nice looking cover for his sytem that could work on any of the slipons and there is one being made by a local fabricator in any finish you want he makes exhausts for all types of bikes and complete Turbo systems for cars and bikes and hes a DYNO CENTER and MOTECH dealer so another option for Rocket owners that need tuning
