Due to many requests, I'm bringing back the R3Classic Radiator Inserts in Polished, Number 8, domestic (Carpenter Technologies) Stainless Steel.
I had a problem with a high rejection rate because of the way the 'Classic' script is positioned on the insert but after careful re-plotting of the insert and small adjustments in the location and execution of the scripted logo, I was able to overcome the problem and produce an insert that looks exactly like the original without the loss rate I experienced on the originals.
I've also changed contractors and the inserts are being cut on a Trumpf CNC Laser instead of the original Prima machine.
The best part is I obtained a large reduction in the cost of the materials due to a depressed market for alloys. Consequently, the 'Classic' inserts will be reuced in price from $143.55 USD, to $125.00 USD, a substantial reduction in price.
As my inventory on the 'Touring' and '2300' is reduced and I cut additional inserts, those prices will also reflect the the current price for materials.
The 'Classic' inserts will appear on my website www.flipmeisters.com in the next few weeks for all of you that have requested them.
On another note, the 'Lift Aid Brackets' are back from the laser cutter and in the shop. They are currently being assembled. Look for those shortly as well.
