carpenters exhaust

what I would like to know is when you guys got the carpenter kit weather it was with his exhaust or with the Jardine, as soon as you started it could you tell the difference?
And as soon as you pulled away was it like holly **** what a difference?
Or you can only tell once you trap on it?
You can hear it has cams while it's just idling. I've had a few people who knew nothing about Rockets say something about how they could hear it had high performance cams. Maybe that's why so few people will bite when I try to get them to race from a red light. :sneaky:

So steel when you get on your rocket and drive it normal could you feel a huge difference then driving it before with out the Carpenter kit? Or it feels the same power until you hit it?
Or as soon as you pull away you can feel all that extra power?

Here's the thing - at nominal cruising speeds you are using less than 15% throttle. Even riding in (shall we say) a spirited manner - I doubt most hit 50% - So do you really think you'll notice?.

Hit a damp patch banked over with 200ftlbs of torque and you'll know.

Like I said back in post #3, it feels about the same as when I just had a stock motor with intake, exhaust, and tune, until it gets to about 4500 rpms. Everyone here knows how much low end grunt a stock Rocket has. Bob Carpenter told me the first motor they built focused more on the lower rpm power, and it wasn't very ride-able. The front end would come up like it was directly connected to the throttle. It would have been a lot of fun for someone like me, but not very safe, especially 2up.
That I can honestly say is a monster when you unleash it. Now I refer to Betty, as my bipolar bitch. At low rpms she's as easy to handle as a stock Rocket, which is good in slow traffic, especially with a passenger. Get her above 4500 rpms, and you better be holding on like you just called the ol lady by her sister's name.

Humm it doesn’t seem its what I’m looking for, I like taking off fast and which my bike does now,I’m not the one for high speeds.
I just took a fuel injection Boss Hoss out and just rolling out for a dead stop you knew you where riding something with power and you gave her gas and wow, it was like riding a while horse compared to a pony, like a muscle care,

I guess I was hoping for the same feeling in putting the Carpenter kit in the Rocket.
