Competition Werks Exhaust Empty Mount

I just installed the Competition Werkes Exhaust on my rocket. The new laser cutout logo goes super well with the bike (see photos). I know I read on here before if you can remove the empty left side mount but I can not seem to find it again. It appears to just be held on behind the kickstand but I wanted to check before I go and start removing parts. Can someone verify this?
