Captains Log?

If we are all Captains, why isnt this section called "Captains Log" or "Captains Corner"?

Hard saying I think in the older days it came about as the Captian was in charge of the vessel and mission which did not mean he was the pilot of such vessel. I figure its better then being called something else like late to dinner

Captain's not a term i have ever used to refer to other Rocket Owners ... just wondered why it seems to appear on this forum so often. Maybe just something that's become part of the lingo i guess..... No big deal , just curious.
