Why Captain ... never really understood why blokes on here refer to each other by that title . Are the people that pilot real rocketships (Like Apollo , Sputniks etc) called Captains ?? ...is that it?? Legitimate question.

Hmmm, seems to me the Captains Log is the one you drop when you first ride the Carpenter Rocket.

I don't know the origins but the word 'Captain' is used a lot in H-D chapters. We heard it a lot when holidaying over there.

Me too maybe we should use "Pilots" cos Rockets fly!!! whereas captain is suitable for hardly's as they are just a bargeThat's enough for me not to use the sum*****in word!!!!
