Calling all Aussies - Rockets Downunder???

We could organise for FNQ owners to head south picking up anyone along the way,meet up with the SEQ mob and then head south meeting up with the NSW,ACT,VIC,SA (and i guess anyone keen enough to come over from the west) blokes somewhere Mid-NSW. That way everyone would get a chance to ride with the owners from around where they come from on their way to meet-up place. Find somewhere with good riding roads (and a small police presence) either a town on the Great Dividing Range or coastal around Coffs as was suggested earlier. Then we could all enjoy some spirited riding around meet-up place together Just my thoughts.

Works for me. I like your "selection criteria" to, altho small police presence is not necessarily good presence. I lived near a small country town for 25 years and for a period they had Robocop; one man show and a complete prick to locals and visitors alike. Some reconisence necessary.

Hey Tomcat you don't want the yanks to think you are a sooky girlie boy do you, besides I would rather not ride on a 33degree 90% humidity day( only good for extended stops at the Pub) more uncomfortable than the very temperate 20 to 26 degrees I have to put up with most of the year ......yeah Life's tough in paradise, I mean when was the last time you heard of a flood or cyclone hiting Batemans Bay

Off to the Sydney Chapters Memorial poker run this weekend. No amount of pleading has so far persuaded a change from the Glenn Innes ,Armidale , Tamworth route to the much warmer coastal road Some nonsense about sorting the men out from the boys Told'em quite happy being a warm boy ... even a sooky girlie boy ... i guess !!!

A timely bump, Nolton. Thanks. No, certainly not given up on the idea and will make sure it gets plenty of air here.

Shaping up to look like a Northern and a Southern cohort meeting somewhere around the northern quarter of NSW - place yet to be determined. Hopefully would then see some from each group continuing on at least some of the way with the other group before returning home.

Without reading all the posts so I might be repeating some stuff, the Aussie gang have had meetings before, the old Aussie gaurd-Aussiebikerdave, Scotsman, JDonoly to name but a few were very active a few years back in arranging get togethers.

Must have been quite a few years ago , i've been lurking(researching) since 2008 and i dont remember reading anything from any of those blokes.
