Build date

How can you tell the exact date your R3 or R3T was built?
I will need this info to import my bike into Canada.
Is there a sticker or an engraving on the frame?
The VIN #s give the date?

The 10th digit of the VIN # will give the model year, but the date on the sticker is the production date. It doesn't give the exact date just month and year.
