Brute or Jars ??

Yes, I'm sure I am who I am, Tripps.:D

The Mad Dogs are a very well made, beautiful looking and awesome sounding slip-on exhaust system. I have not heard anything else that puts out such a pleasant, yet authoritative, low throaty growl from our Rockets.

Both

i had a set of Jars and they were alright. The guys i ride with say they sound 'powerful' at high speed and 'quiet' at low speed.i could never tell, as i was sitting forward of the exhaust exit. they sounded ok, nothing fantastic. With my upgrade to Carpenter S2, i sold them, cos they wouldnt flow the numbers i need.I came home yesterday to find my lady( Tammy) going thru a heap of Australia Customs paper work. YES, my Brute has arrived, along with some other goodies.i will be able to give you an informed opinion of which i consider the best of the two, soon.Although, second thoughts, once my bikes up and running i might 'go bush' and pop over to Brissy for the week LoL.

Got 'em on yet, mate???

yeah The Brutes nearly sounds as good as My Sams Headers with the modified StainTunes,:D I am in the process of designing a 3 muffler look but with 2 inch outlets and 2 inch header tubes so that the HP I loose with having 3 mufflers (extra back pressure) as opposed to a single outlet will be made up with the wider pipe cos a Non Super Charged engine with massage internals would not need more than 1/34 tubes header into a single normally according to the info I have received, but first I will have to find the funds then I will talk to N/Lush and the guy that built Ponters work of Art and see if my idea can work:)
You know I'm just stirring ya Warpe if yours sound like our mutual friend that lives up the road from me then they sound Friggin Awesome:cool:

Na you aint stirring me up Hans like the car tire thing people have to make up their own minds as to what they want. Myself I held out for the longest time on going 3-1 because I wanted to keep the triple look. In the end 3-1 does provinde the best power plus it is easy to go up the tail pipe into each header in need be to tune each cylinder.

That being said I would still stick with the Carpenter pipe. As for the end cap and baffle I use the baffle is modified to my specs.. The company who makes it actually sells a step down baffle for it.

After talking to the tech at the company he aggreed with my toughts and sold me a modified version just using the 3 inch area rapped and no flange with the step down to 2.5 inch.
